spring?

I went back to the states a couple weeks ago for the first time since a short trip the first month I was here. I've been here almost 1 year now. I definitely noticed the big cars and the big people. It was good to see family and friends, but it was all too short. I was there for business and didn't have a lot of time for fun. My credit card company called me to check on the status of my card because there were purchases in Austin, Phoenix, and Chicago on the same day, and London and in France the next day. I assured them that it was really me.

I have a couple new friend's links up. Stephanie is a girl that moved to Paris to study (from the US). She found my website when she was looking on the net to find information about what it's like for an american to move to and live in France. She doesn't have a lot on her site but she's much better at updating journal entries than I am. Check it out.

The weather has been cold in the mornings (light snow) and warmer in the afternoons (light rain) but cloudy all day...until yesterday that is. Even though spring doesn't officially come until this weekend, it hit yesterday. Yesterday and today have been unbelievably beautiful. Clear, blue skies, light wind, about 70 F, perfect. Perfect for anything but working that is. I've been looking forward to this weekend (it was raining all of last weekend). But, today I found out that the rain is supposed to come back starting on Friday....
